Heartburn or GERD can Kill

Heartburn is a common annoyance. The busy lifestyle, quick meals, fatty or spicy foods all contribute to the occasional need of a chewable pain reliever. The acceptance of heartburn as an inconvenient, but natural, part of the daily grind can blind you to the warning that a severe heartburn symptom can bring.

Heartburn as a Disorder

Heartburn can be a symptom as well as a disorder. Simple heartburn or GERD can be controlled and dealt with. However, heartburn can signal the presence of a much more serious problem. If it’s heartburn, you will have a burning sensation in the chest usually after eating. There may be a spread of the burning to the throat, sometimes accompanied by a bad taste, difficulty in swallowing, belching, coughing, hoarseness and/or wheezing.

It can become worse by lying down or bending over or by eating. Relief can come from an antacid. While the more severe heartburn symptoms may be mistaken for a heart attack, simple heartburn is usually not made worse by exercise. If there is any concern that the pain may signal a heart attack, get help quickly.

Old Fashioned And Little Known Craft Using Herbs Can Help Ease Pain!...

By Anna Meenaghan

The majority of us have tried canvas art at one time or another, to create abstract paintings. Most people like to experiment now and then, so why not diversify into some other style of craft?

In my preceding articles, we established that we can use herbs for a mixture of effects, as well as to benefit your healthiness. One capital suggestion which I can endorse, is using herbs to put together wheat bags.

As an illustration, these bags,in effect, are used here the same way as you would use a hot water bottle. Therefore, they are very good for using to soothe sore or painful joints, or muscles. To make this you will need a quantity of dried herbs with rosemary, the bag itself, which you will have to make according to the size required, and, naturally, a quantity of wheat grains.

To be successful it is better to handle a very fine cotton, cambric, or else calico to make up the bag, seeing that this has to endure the temperature of the stove or microwave. To begin with you will need to sew up three sides of the bag. After that take your mixed herbs and wheat grains and stuff them into the bag, leaving about an inch at the top.

The next section should be to stitch up the last side. I think it is better to add a piece of twine, or even a shoelace would do, to gather close to the top and make a knot and possibly a tiny bow to secure it. Members of my family found this quite advantageous for easing the pain they suffered from having whiplash.

A person who has, really, suffered with this, will be aware of how troublesome and distressing this can truly be and any benefit you can find would be a boon. These bagsshould be heated up in the oven or microwave to start with, before you can apply them.

If you are using a ordinary oven it will obviously take a little longer, on the contrary if you own a microwave it would perhaps take about five minutes in all. However, you will need to turn the bag over in this time. Therefore, when it is nice and warm, you can place it on the back of your neck and finally get some consolation from this!

We all suffer aches and pains at various times as a consequence I now and then find it somewhat hard to suppose that people haven't tried this remedy. So many people are crippled with back pain and lose so much time off work.

Others suffer with blinding headaches and migraines for days on end in a darkened room. Whilst women can go through agonies at their time of the month with period pains and particularly stomach cramps.

For that reason you can grasp that these bags achieve a purpose in addition to being aromatic. So, if you have not tried one of these, you don't know what you are missing! Now is the time!
