Heartburn or GERD can Kill

Heartburn is a common annoyance. The busy lifestyle, quick meals, fatty or spicy foods all contribute to the occasional need of a chewable pain reliever. The acceptance of heartburn as an inconvenient, but natural, part of the daily grind can blind you to the warning that a severe heartburn symptom can bring.

Heartburn as a Disorder

Heartburn can be a symptom as well as a disorder. Simple heartburn or GERD can be controlled and dealt with. However, heartburn can signal the presence of a much more serious problem. If it’s heartburn, you will have a burning sensation in the chest usually after eating. There may be a spread of the burning to the throat, sometimes accompanied by a bad taste, difficulty in swallowing, belching, coughing, hoarseness and/or wheezing.

It can become worse by lying down or bending over or by eating. Relief can come from an antacid. While the more severe heartburn symptoms may be mistaken for a heart attack, simple heartburn is usually not made worse by exercise. If there is any concern that the pain may signal a heart attack, get help quickly.

How Not To Find A Good Liposculpture Doctor

By Pier Montague

Finding a top notch surgeon to perform liposculpture is of top importance. Too many people mistakenly factor in other things over the doctor, or they simply just don't know what to look for in the first. Let's go over 3 mistakes often made when choosing a doctor.

1. They shop around for price alone. While on one hand, it's understandable that you'd want to get a great price on liposculpture, let's step back and take a look at it in a different light. If you were going to buy a used car, would you buy the cheapest one on the lot? Of course not, you'd want to get something for a good price which offers good value for your purchase. Now, this example is just in relation to a car - but for liposculpture, we are talking about sculpting your body, far more personal and important than a car! Shopping for price alone could lead to blindly choosing an inexperienced doctor, a nightmare scenario for increasing the risks of the surgery. Price should be a consideration, but only in the sense that the doctors prices should more or less be in the same range as everyone else. Don't get duped into low quality service by a low price.

2. They have questions but don't ask the doctor about them. Sometimes people are intimidated when going in to see a doctor - once it's all said and done, the appointment is over and they realized they didn't get into half the questions they had on the procedure. Don't let this happen to you. Take the time to get your questions answered, and along with that, take the time to find a doctor who will answer your questions. You deserve to understand fully what you are getting into when going for liposculpture treatments.

3. They don't get a doctor with solid experience performing liposculpture. One of the best ways to minimize the risks of cosmetic surgery is to get it performed by a doctor who is very well versed in performing the procedures, having done them preferably thousands of times. This is no time to experiment with your body. You are going to want the best of the best - after all, this is your body you're talking about.

There's a reason why liposculpture is so incredibly popular. Who doesn't want to look thinner and better looking? Don't forget though that with this comes along risks. More than price or a good deal, you want a doctor who will work with you and has a lot of experience. Don't accept anything less!
