Heartburn or GERD can Kill

Heartburn is a common annoyance. The busy lifestyle, quick meals, fatty or spicy foods all contribute to the occasional need of a chewable pain reliever. The acceptance of heartburn as an inconvenient, but natural, part of the daily grind can blind you to the warning that a severe heartburn symptom can bring.

Heartburn as a Disorder

Heartburn can be a symptom as well as a disorder. Simple heartburn or GERD can be controlled and dealt with. However, heartburn can signal the presence of a much more serious problem. If it’s heartburn, you will have a burning sensation in the chest usually after eating. There may be a spread of the burning to the throat, sometimes accompanied by a bad taste, difficulty in swallowing, belching, coughing, hoarseness and/or wheezing.

It can become worse by lying down or bending over or by eating. Relief can come from an antacid. While the more severe heartburn symptoms may be mistaken for a heart attack, simple heartburn is usually not made worse by exercise. If there is any concern that the pain may signal a heart attack, get help quickly.

Three Harmful Ingredients You Need To Avoid In Your Skin Care Cream!

By Terry Johnston

For far too many people, choosing a skin care cream is a simple process. They go to the drugstore, pick out the cheapest cream that smells nice, and go home thinking that they've got a great deal. However, this is the wrong approach to skin care.

Most skin care creams contain ingredients that are harmful. Harsh chemicals, perfumes, dyes, and parabens make up quite a toxic cocktail, and each day millions of people apply this stuff to their skin.

Few people realize that your skin absorbs a great deal of what it comes into contact with. It is very similar to eating something. You would never eat petroleum based preservatives or dyes--would you? If you wouldn't put it in your mouth don't put it on your skin!

Here's a list of 3 very common, but harmful ingredients you need to avoid in your skin care cream.

Parabens: -- Parabens are chemical preservatives found in many skin care products. These chemicals are cheap, readily available, and increase the shelf life of the product. However, studies have linked parabens to cancer, especially when subjects were exposed over long periods of time. Choose your skin care cream without the cancer causing additives.

Cheap Chemical Knockoffs: -- Most of the unpronounceable ingredient names in skin care cream are cheap artificial copies of natural products. Large skin care manufacturers can mass produce skin care products--so much cheaper--using these, as opposed to real natural products. Chemical copies can be irritating and damaging to your skin with long term use. Make your skin care regimen simple and natural. Go for safe, effective, real ingredients. Your skin needs the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients they provide.

Perfumes and Dyes: -- Skin care cream is often scented and colored to make it more appealing. The dyes and scents used are normally artificial. They have been know to cause skin irritation, allergic reactions and dryness. Especially if your skin is sensitive. Pick a skin care cream free of dyes and scents - your skin will be grateful.

Your skin is your largest organ - treat it well by choosing high quality ingredients. Sometimes just stopping the use of harsh products on you skin can produce amazing improvements very quickly. Add to that the application of quality safe natural ingredients and the all of a sudden the results can be astounding.

It makes sense to choose a skin care cream that is proven to work (clinically tested). Is also proven to be safe and all natural and is sold at a responsible price.
